Most kids today know how to swipe before they learn how to hold a crayon.
That shift didn’t sit right with Nidhi Sethia.
In the middle of the 2020 lockdown, she saw something worrying. Screens had taken over playtime. Children were glued to mobiles, watching videos, playing games, and scrolling endlessly.
But what was missing was much bigger: imagination, real-world fun, and the joy of making something with their own hands.
That’s when Nidhi decided to build something better.
She started with simple DIY kits for kids, fun and screen-free ways to explore, build, and learn. What began as a few DIY craft kits turned into Creste, a brand built to bring arts and crafts for kids back into everyday life.
Today, Creste isn’t just about crafts. It’s about giving kids creative DIY kits that spark curiosity, confidence, and joy. It’s about designing every DIY arts and crafts kit to feel exciting, not like a task. And most of all, it’s about offering fun crafts for kids that help them grow with their hands, their ideas, and their spark.
Today, Nidhi runs Creste with one goal: to put creativity and hands-on learning into every DIY kit, workshop, and experience. The team at Creste is all about making sure kids get to learn and create, and don’t just watch. From hands-on projects to fun crafts, everything we do is designed to inspire kids to build, explore, and have fun with their own two hands.
