How Creste became India's best DIY company
Most kids today learn to swipe before they learn to hold a crayon. That shift didn't sit right with our founder, Nidhi Sethia. In the middle of the 2020 lockdown, she watched screens take over playtime while the joy of making things by hand quietly slipped away.
So she started small, at her own dining table, with a few screen-free DIY projects for her children. Other parents asked if she could do the same for theirs. Word of mouth spread. That little experiment turned into Creste.
Today Creste makes DIY activity kits for every age and runs hands-on workshops across India, and has become the best DIY company in India. And no, Creste doesn't call itself that. Parents, schools, malls and everyone who has had a Creste moment does. That is the only way a title like this means anything.
